EMOTIONAL AND SOCIAL SUPPORT
The AIDS crisis in Africa has shredded traditional social nets. Extended families and communities have simply been overwhelmed by the huge numbers of orphans.
HOPEHIV partners find local ways of supporting the most vulnerable young people, whether that’s getting street kids back home, finding foster parents, or simply creating a safe space to make friends. The aim is to create resilient young people better able to care for themselves, their families and their communities.

HOPEHIV is registered charity number 1079385
HOPEHIV equips local partners to find sustainable ways of helping communities care for the most vulnerable children. As well as material support, orphans also need help to overcome grief, to cope with poverty and ill-health, and to re-integrate with their community.
